General view of Sa'yee Gallery as pilgrims leave towards Koh-i Marwah at the start of Sa'yee. The two points and the path between al-Safa and al-Marwah are now inside a long gallery that forms part of the Masjid. The distance between Safa and Marwah is approximately 300 m (980 ft), so that seven trips amount to roughly 2.1 km (1.3 mi).
