Sa'yee Gallery is the covered valley between Safa and Marwah, where according to Islamic tradition Hagar (Hajarah) travelled back and forth seven times in search of water or help for her infant son Ishmael.
The two points and the path between al-Safa and al-Marwah are now inside a long gallery that forms part of the Masjid. The distance between Safa and Marwah is approximately 300 m (980 ft), so that seven trips amount to roughly 2.1 km (1.3 mi).
